The Open Knowledge Foundation Brazil's “Querido Diário” project consists of using artificial intelligence to classify, contextualize and expand the information contained in Brazilian official gazette, making them available on a platform that will allow the viewing of these newspapers in an open and friendly format. In this project, we will use the information collected in these 304 official journals to apply artificial intelligence techniques, such as classification algorithms and association rules, in order to obtain: i. a categorization of the articles published in gazettes, a system of recommendations to contextualize and expand existing information, a categorization and monitoring of the measures adopted by Brazilian governments to combat the pandemic, a mechanism that will seek to show, through graphics, the main relationships between individuals and institutions.
