Descripción del proyecto
In Argentina, air quality management is a difficult problem to address due to the lack of continuous measurements that could be used to generate a diagnosis and a situation status. Combining satellite information and using a Random Forest algorithmic model, this project will develop maps of the daily and monthly concentration on the surface of the pollutant PM10 for Argentina. The project represents a technological innovation since it offers the possibility of having exhaustive information on an environmental variable of high interest for the study and management of air quality through the use of an artificial intelligence algorith. Thanks to the operational implementation, the particulate matter’s levels will be published regularly, a product with high added value for different social applications’ fields.
